Technical description
The rotary nozzle cleaning system (automatic cleaning system) is a special, advanced cleaning device for dust cartridge filters with a diameter of 328 mm.
During the reverse-flow cleaning phase, the disc stops the air flow through the filter, allowing the dust to fall. Meanwhile, compressed air escapes from the small holes drilled along the vertical tubes and, by reaction, the nozzle starts to rotate.
The compressed air flow shakes the pleats and, passing through the filter in reverse, gives a deep clean. The holes in the tubes are staggered so that the jet of compressed air covers the whole filter. With this system the air jet even reaches the points where the paper is sealed to the end discs.
Cleaning the cartridge takes 1 to 4 seconds, and the interval between pulses can also be adjusted, typically between 10 and 20 seconds. At the end of each pulse the disc is lifted back up by the vacuum created by the fan.
